It’s February and with it comes a flurry of festival announcements. There’s been Parklife but there’s also the announcement of our very own My Future Festival – so what exactly is it?

In short, its two weeks of events made to boost your employability, offer you some unmissable opportunities and help you find your perfect role. The full line-up is packed, but beyond that, here are the top reasons My Future Festival is not to be missed!

Something for everyone

Whether you’re in your first year or you’ve recently graduated, there’s an event for you! There’s no limit on the amount you can attend. In fact, most of the events, like LinkedIn Academy and The Fair have something for everyone.

Looking for something a little more specialised? There are events for international students, postgrad students and even those who don’t have any idea what the future holds.

Free stuff

It wouldn’t be a festival without some freebies, and My Future Festival won’t disappoint! Come down to our festival-themed event – The Launch. Find out what the University can offer you from volunteering to internships, societies and even graduate roles. The free bonus? There’s a chance to win an array of prizes, from Amazon gift cards to a gym membership and we’ll be handing out free cupcakes and popcorn, to keep the good times rolling.

Last chance

The Fair headlines My Future Festival, and it’s not to be missed. Not only is it one of our largest careers fairs to date, it’s our final fair of the academic year! With the chance to meet over 60 employers as well as find out more about postgraduate study, placements and more, it’s the place to be.

My Future Festival takes place 10 – 21 February, 2020 and is comprised of over 24 events. Sign up is free.
