If you would love to take a masters degree but the only thing holding you back is finance don’t miss this generous scheme of funding available this year. This is the first time these scholarships have been available and I have no idea if they will be available in the future so do apply if you are interested.
The University of Manchester is offering £10-15k cash award scholarships for full-time UK/EU Master’s students starting September 2014.
Eligibility
- Have been offered a place to study on a full-time taught masters course at The University of Manchester commencing September 2014 (there may still be time to apply if you are quick!)
- Hold or expect 2:1 or first class degree or equivalent. You do not have to have studied your first degree at Manchester to be eligible. Both current final year student and recent graduates may apply.
- UK or EU and eligible to pay fees at home rate.
- Must also meet one of these 5 additional criteria – see the website for the details.
It is important to check out the full information on the website as there are several exclusions. E.g. this award is not available for part-time students or postgraduate research/PGCE/PGCert/PGDip courses etc.
Applications must be received by 5pm 2nd June 2014.
