This week has been Freshers week at The University of Manchester marking that start of the new academic term.
If your missing being on campus at this time of the year (and all those free Dominos vouchers!) remember that your contact with the University has not ended. The Careers Service is still able to help you for two years after you graduate. This means that you will be able to;
- Book careers guidance appointments.
- Get advice on applications, CV’s and covering letters.
- Speak to a member of the information team for advice.
- Pick up FREE 2013/14 graduate directories- Directories arriving over the next couple of weeks include Times Top 100, GET directory, Guardian 300 and Prospects Directory.
All of these services can be accessed in or new home (Week commencing Monday 23rd September) the Atrium, first floor, University Place. We look forward to seeing you there! Although we are moving you can still contact us on 0161 275 2829.
Remember as a recent graduate you will also be able to access vacancies through Careerslink and for those now living away from Manchester or the North West some services are available over the phone or even Skype. You can find out more about our services here.
