Ever wanted to work in TV as a presenter or newsreader? Here’s your chance.
In 2012 Ofcom awarded the first 19 local TV licences for brand new local TV channels. Manchester, Preston, Leeds and Liverpool are a few of the places awarded licences to start airing local TV on Freeview in late 2013/ early 2014. These new local channels will open up numerous opportutnies to get involved in content making, production and presenting at a local level.
Your TV Manchester is now looking for new presenters and reporters for their channel. If you’d like a life in front of the camera all you need to do is send in a video of yourself either presenting something or putting together a brief news report, preferably about something relating to your local area.
