Volunteering is a great way to experience more of life, gain valuable skills and make new friends. It gives you something substantial to add to your CV and talk about at an interview. The Volunteering for your career fairs – taking place in University Place, 11-3pm, Monday 11 Feb-Fri 15 Feb – offer an easy way to chat informally to representatives from charities and not-for-profit organisations offering volunteering opportunities. Each day focuses on a specific area of volunteering:
Mon 11 Feb – Vulnerable adults
Tues 12 Feb – Arts, culture and the media
Wed 13 Feb – Health
Thurs 14 Feb – Environment and conservation
Fri 15 Feb – Children and young people
