Volunteering with The Mancunion student newspaper is a great way to gain experience if you want to work in the media. Even if you want to work in an unrelated field, volunteering with the paper will still look really good on your CV. If you’re interested in getting involved, don’t miss out on a meeting at 5.30pm on Monday 28th January in Club Academy – basement of the Students’ Union. You’ll get to meet all the paper’s section editors and find out how you can start contributing to the UK’s biggest student paper. Whether you want to be web developer, photographer, reviewer, feature writer or reporter there will be opportunities for you to get involved. The event is open to all students at the University of Manchester, so invite anyone who you think might be interested!
