Info about the department: From the World Cup to the Winter Olympics, Formula 1, the Open, 6 Nations and Wimbledon, BBC Sport is at the heart of the world’s major sporting events. The role will involve supporting the Staff Scheduling team through managing all timesheet admin including checking rotas and leave records providing support over queries, submitting timesheets to payroll and compiling Excel reports. You will manage the leave system for TV sport, provide ID authorisations and renewals including studio access, provide system logins for new users and manage all hotel and transport bookings. It will also be your responsiblity to maintain the contacts database of staff and freelance workers liaise with finance to support BBC credit card administration and support the Manager Production talent with ad hoc admin.
They’re looking for strong administration experience and experience of operating and maintaining complex admin systems. You must be an excellent communicator and be able to build relationships and engage with professional and creative individuals. You will be highly IT proficient and have a willingness to learn new software developments and systems. An appreciation and understanding of sport would be advantageous. Good Luck!
