Students and new graduates can apply now for a very exciting opportunity with BBC DRAMA PRODUCTION NORTH on the 3 x 60 minute BBC THREE drama IN THE FLESH, a family drama looking at identify and discrimination but with a surprising genre twist.  This is a fantastic chance to work on location and oversee all aspects of a BBC drama production.

The successful trainee will be based on set and main duties will include working alongside the assistant directors.  There is also the potential opportunity to spend time with other departments according to your particular interest.  You’ll work long days and irregular hours.  You need to be able to drive and have your own transport as shooting will be taking place over the North West.

This four week PAID placement will take place from Mon 15 Oct – Fri 9 Nov.  Shortlisted applicants will need to be available on Friday 5th October for interview.  To apply, send your CV, and a covering letter of no more than a page that outlines what you could bring to this production and why you think you’re a good fit, to mediaclub@manchester.ac.uk   Deadline is Tuesday 2nd October, 12 noon
